Beachin' It & Lovin' It.

Just a quick post to update you on the vacation it is... AWESOME. I love everything about this place. The smell of the ocean, walking on the beach early in the morning and the crunching sound of the shells as I go, laying on a towel on the warm sand and reading book after book....
Will post photos later today.
Check back soon ~ K

Packed and ready to go

It's finally here... just six more hours of work and we are off to Myrtle Beach, SC. I have a huge desire for sun and warmer weather! Between the North Country winters and freezing cold hockey rinks I am more than ready.

My guys are equally as excited for obvious reasons... NO SCHOOL!

AWH... a road trip without "smelly" hockey equipment!

(I am bringing my laptop so I will be sure to post and share some photos.)

Happy Easter !!!

Check back soon~

HERE WE GO ...or drop the puck!

OK! So here it is ... my very FIRST post.
EXCITING!
INTIMIDATING!
and a NEW BEGINNING for me!
I have always been a huge BLOG fan. I read several blogs everyday. They are basically SCRAPBOOKING related. I first started reading ALI EDWARDS which I found through the Creating Keepsakes magazine. Her blog led me to the Scrapbooker of the Year winners, CD Muckosky (Jellybean Toes,Cheerios and a Scrapping Hullabaloo),Elizabeth Kartchner (Just Us),and Mandy Douglass(it will change your life). Oh and I can not forget Lisa Bearnson (Founder of Creating Keepsakes Magazine). I love the way you can tell your story through photos in appealing ways. I love learning new things but I also love developing new scrapbooking techniques myself. So hopefully I will be able to share this with you here as well as share my "mom"and "everyday life" stories too.
Here is a little bit about me...
I have been married for 17 years. I have two boys 16(Brandon) and 12(Nathan), and an AWESOME husband (Bryan). I work full time as a Postmaster in the US Postal Service in a small community. I live in way upstate New York. (We are only one hour from Montreal, Quebec ~ Canada.) My job pays the bills but I can honestly say I live for the weekends. Winters here are very long. To help pass the time my boys play travel hockey. We travel all over New York,Vermont and Canada. We are gone alot of weekends and are in hotels alot but it is great family time and we have sooooo many friends that we travel with and hang out with. I never would have guessed that this would be my life but could not imagine any better ride.
Hope you enjoy all that I hope to share here ...check back often
